Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and in a timely manner while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading, using specialized equipment when warranted, and return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain signed invoices and shipping paperwork (e.g., bills of lading) and deliver documentation when the route is complete.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight to be operated.

  • •Must pass a DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
  • •Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to speak professionally with customers and staff.
  • •Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and remain focused in a busy environment.
