Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise manufacturing employees and oversee activities of other departments such as production, maintenance, and shipping as needed.
  • •Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities (including staffing) to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products per established procedures.
  • •Ensure site security, safety, and proper shutdown at the end of shift.
  • •Monitor and improve manufacturing efficiency, output, and safety by observing processes, collecting and interpreting data, and ensuring compliance with written documentation (Batch Records, cGMPs, SOPs, work instructions).
  • •Investigate non-conformities using root cause analysis, implement corrective and preventative actions, support process validations, and actively participate in internal/customer audits and ISO certification activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree preferred in a technical field (life science, chemistry, or engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • •Minimum 5 years of progressive manufacturing experience in a lean environment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • •Experience with life science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or chemical production processes; chemical and/or aseptic production experience is preferred.
  • •Experience in cGMP manufacturing is a plus.
  • •Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to manage priorities, perform risk assessment, and use computer literacy for scheduling and data management.
