Key Responsibilities

  • •Own daily operational accounting for CBFSE, including journal entries, supporting schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • •Execute daily reconciliation reporting and periodic regulatory submissions required by CySEC, the Central Bank of Cyprus, and CIF frameworks.
  • •Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Source-to-Pay, and engineering teams to ensure proper accounting treatment and accurate financial reporting.
  • •Support internal and external audit processes with documentation, analysis, and timely responses within defined responsibilities.
  • •Drive data analysis against business drivers to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and recommend process improvements to strengthen accounting operations.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of accounting or finance experience within a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF), Big Four firm, or financial services/fintech company.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, with ACCA, ACA, or CPA preferred.
  • •Hands-on working knowledge of IFRS applied to operational accounting and financial reporting.
  • •Proficiency with NetSuite, FloQast, and G-Suite; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
  • •Familiarity with CySEC and CIF regulatory reporting requirements and the ability to interpret regulatory guidance for accounting processes.
