Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and oversee program budgets, including accruals, actual costs, forecasts, and cost contingency.
  • •Collect and report budget and cost information (commitments, actuals, incurred, contingency, and forecast costs) and lead variance analysis in monthly reporting.
  • •Maintain cost management procedures and systems, including ensuring the cost control system stays current and is consistently followed, and managing the PMIS Cost Control Module.
  • •Analyze cost data to identify trends and discrepancies; collect cost impacts for potential changes and implement approved changes.
  • •Oversee contractor invoice reviews for compliance, coordinate with schedule and commercial teams to align PMIS cost controls with contracts, and work with client finance/accounting to support forecasting and budget reconciliation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Construction Management, or related field.
  • •10+ years of experience managing budgets (or demonstrated equivalency through experience and/or education).
  • •Experience with construction contracts, billing procedures, payment processes, and compliance requirements.
  • •Experience reviewing contractor payment applications and supporting documentation with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • •Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, while managing multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment.
