Job Summary

Deliver professional financial services at a banking center, including opening/closing and maintaining deposit accounts and handling client inquiries. Listen to clients, resolve requests promptly, protect customer privacy, and profile clients to identify sales opportunities. Collaborate with the Teller Supervisor to support lobby training and cross-selling goals, maintain accurate records and reports, and assist with banking center reporting and data entry accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform financial service functions including opening, closing, and maintaining checking, savings, time deposit, and IRA accounts, and assisting with safe deposit boxes, savings bonds, credit cards, and basic consumer loans.
•Answer client questions and solve problems by listening, collecting data, and securing answers; maintain privacy of customer account information.
•Develop business by identifying sales and referral opportunities using lead lists and other strategies.
•Maintain effective client and business relationships by resolving requests promptly and professionally; keep the bank’s reputation.
•Collaborate with the Teller Supervisor to develop, train, and motivate lobby employees to assist customers and cross-sell bank products and services.

Key Requirements

•High school graduate or equivalent.
•Customer service experience required.
•Good understanding of financial services and products provided.
•Excellent communication and public relations skills.
•Ability to operate computer applications and business equipment (including 10-key and telephone) with solid math and bookkeeping abilities.
