Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform financial service functions including opening, closing, and maintaining checking, savings, time deposit, and individual retirement accounts, along with related services such as safe deposit boxes, savings bonds, credit cards, and basic consumer loans.
  • •Answer client questions and solve problems by listening, collecting data, and securing answers; resolve requests promptly, courteously, and professionally.
  • •Receive and process new client accounts and changes to existing accounts (names, addresses, product changes) while maintaining privacy of customer account information.
  • •Present and explain bank products and services, profile clients to identify sales opportunities, and use lead lists and other strategies to generate additional business and meet sales production goals.
  • •Complete required reports and records accurately and promptly, attend training, oversee year-end and banking center-level projects (e.g., key box or safe deposit box key audit), and support treasury management with new accounts and services.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •Good understanding of financial services and products provided.
  • •General customer service experience required.
  • •Personal Banker experience preferred; previous banking experience preferred.
  • •Excellent communication and public relations skills, professional appearance and attitude, and ability to operate basic computer applications and business equipment (including 10-key and telephone).
