Job Summary

Operate a Class B truck (and trailer occasionally) to transport construction materials and equipment between yard and job sites. Load and unload equipment, attach/remove transfer and tilt/transport trailers, and maintain safe, professional driving on highways and roads. Complete daily pre/post-trip inspections and DOT-compliant documentation, monitor gauges, keep mileage logs, perform minor maintenance, and follow safety policies and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate truck and trailer (occasionally) to transport construction materials and equipment to job sites.
•Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections with DOT-compliant documentation and check fluid levels, tires, lights, and controls.
•Attach/remove transfer trailers and tilt/transport trailers as needed; load and unload equipment or materials.
•Monitor gauges during operation, maintain daily vehicle mileage logs, and assure product quality to the best of the driver’s ability.
•Perform minor servicing/maintenance, follow company policies and procedures, and obey applicable laws and supervisor instructions.

Key Requirements

•Must maintain a CDL Class B license and have a good driving record.
•High school education or GED preferred but not required.
•Must be 18 years of age or older.
•Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
•Must follow safety requirements and OSHA/MSHA regulations and wear required PPE (e.g., face shield, hard-toe safety shoes, coveralls).
