Job Summary

Support utility-scale solar projects across construction, commissioning, and operations as a technical liaison within Project Engineering. Own fast technical issue resolution using root-cause analysis and corrective action planning, align field work with engineering standards, and close the feedback loop between operating assets and engineering, quality, and product teams. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners (EPCs/contractors) while reviewing design packages and performance data from SCADA and monitoring systems to improve fleet reliability.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide engineering support for performance, reliability, mechanical, electrical, structural, or equipment-related issues during construction, commissioning, and operation.
•Lead or support root-cause investigations and develop practical corrective action plans to restore or improve system performance.
•Assist construction and commissioning teams with technical guidance and troubleshooting during installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
•Review site design packages and verify field implementation aligns with Nextpower standards, specifications, and approved engineering intent.
•Capture lessons learned from field delivery and operations, help update technical standards and troubleshooting procedures, and use performance data to drive continuous fleet improvement.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
•Minimum 5 years of experience in solar, renewable energy, or industrial engineering with interdisciplinary engineering experience.
•Practical exposure across design, construction, commissioning, and operations, including mechanical or hands-on technical work.
•Strong understanding of utility-scale solar design, tracker systems, and power plant operations.
•Experience reviewing design documentation, field reports, and as-built drawings.
