Job Summary

Leading the electrical systems team at SpaceX Hawthorne Production Facilities, this role designs, builds, activates and maintains advanced manufacturing infrastructure. You will manage multiple projects, supervise technicians and subcontractors, ensure safety and compliance, and optimize maintenance programs to minimize downtime and costs while upholding SpaceX standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, coordinate and supervise a team responsible for facilities electrical construction and maintenance at the Hawthorne Production Facilities, ensuring zero unplanned interruptions in services to employees and customers.
•Coordinate electrical projects to ensure vendors meet SpaceX and local standards while delivering services, materials, and craftsmanship.
•Plan and direct electrical construction and maintenance activities of internal technicians and all subcontractors for each construction phase.
•Enforce contract expectations from subcontractors and communicate discrepancies.
•Maintain a safe work site by implementing safety requirements, OSHA regulations, and applicable agency guidelines.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalency certificate; 5+ years of supervisory and/or electrical experience in an industrial electrical maintenance setting; experience maintaining/troubleshooting plant electrical distribution systems including 3-phase motor controls and 480V AC systems; hold a valid Certified General Electrician certificate issued by the State of California and/or a C-10 Electrical Contractor License; ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and calculations; knowledge of electrical safe work practices – NFPA 70-E.
