Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce process design deliverables including optioneering studies, calculations, mass balances, process flow diagrams, and basis of design reports.
  • •Undertake outline or detailed process engineering design and support feasibility through detailed design for procurement and construction.
  • •Attend site visits for data acquisition and engage with site operators; provide technical input to procurement and support client technical discussions.
  • •Liaise with technology providers and vendors, including participation in HAZOP/HAZID/ENVID/SWIFT activities as required.
  • •Provide technical guidance, coaching, and technical supervision of junior staff and collaborate across disciplines to meet time, cost, and quality targets.

Key Requirements

  • •A Chemical or Environmental Engineering degree or MSc, plus professional registration as CEng (or working towards Chartership within 12 months).
  • •Significant experience delivering process engineering design for infrastructure projects, including leading process engineering on a project or task.
  • •Experience in the municipal water industry and delivering optioneering studies plus feasibility, concept, and/or detail design for clean water treatment solutions.
  • •Ability to work mainly unsupervised in preparing/reviewing process design deliverables such as specifications, calculations, reports, P&IDs, mass balances, and procurement documentation.
  • •Confident written and verbal communication, with experience leading multi-disciplinary meetings and acting as a technical representative with external clients.
