Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and fault diagnosis on Mining Systems infrastructure and onboard hardware.
  • •Maintain Caterpillar MineStar systems (Terrain, Command, Site Awareness) and associated heavy mobile equipment interfaces.
  • •Support LTE communications infrastructure, AVI data radios, onboard networking equipment, and machine connectivity systems.
  • •Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network-related issues affecting fleet production and autonomous operations.
  • •Restore systems safely after breakdown repairs, monitor health, support commissioning/upgrades, and manage maintenance work orders and asset history in SAP.

Key Requirements

  • •Commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
  • •Trade qualification in Auto Electrical, Radio Communications, Industrial Information Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
  • •Demonstrated experience maintaining Mining Systems technologies within mining, heavy industry, rail, or autonomous operations.
  • •Strong working knowledge of Caterpillar MineStar applications, including Terrain, Command, and Site Awareness.
  • •Experience supporting onboard machine hardware, GNSS systems, LTE and wireless communications, networking principles, machine interfaces, and fleet management technologies, plus SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency.
