Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead business development and sales strategy to grow land, joint, and related digital transformation programs.
  • •Establish and maintain relationships with Canadian Armed Forces stakeholders/customers, prime contractors, and key industry partners.
  • •Own capture planning from opportunity identification through handoff, including teaming, solution shaping, and value proposition development.
  • •Oversee competitive intelligence, market assessments, and long-range sales forecasts; align solution roadmaps with engineering/product/capture teams.
  • •Mentor and lead the bids and proposal activities to achieve revenue, order intake, and profitability objectives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • •Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in the Canadian defence industry with a proven track record in sales and business development.
  • •Strong understanding of Canadian and allied defence procurement processes, with technical experience in C5ISRT, command, control and communication systems/products.
  • •Knowledge of emerging technologies including AI and cybersecurity.
  • •Ability to build and maintain trusted customer and stakeholder relationships, including capture management and competitive positioning.
