Job Summary

Harden and scale the infrastructure behind Vultr’s global cloud platform. Own production automation and CI/CD improvements using Ansible, Terraform, and Go, and deepen Kubernetes internals work across scheduler/kubelet and CRDs. Build and optimize container runtime integrations (containerd/runc/OCI), troubleshoot distributed and networking load-balancing issues, and strengthen security with scanning, image signing, admission controls, and secrets management. Contribute to Vultr’s open-source ecosystem and improve reliability and operability.

•Build and maintain production-grade automation with Ansible, Terraform, and Go.
•Develop and enhance core services behind VKE, VLB (HAProxy), VCR (Container Registry), and Inference.
•Work deeply with Kubernetes internals, including scheduler, kubelet, controllers, and CRDs.

•Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipeline design.
