Key Responsibilities

•Day-to-day avionics engineering tasks within a CAMO organisation: managing airworthiness, identification and prioritisation of fleet issues, root cause analysis and development of corrective actions to drive continuous improvement in safety, operational performance and efficiency of aircraft avionic systems and components.
•Managing Aircraft Controlled Software (ACS): liaising with other departments to support software creation, design and distribution of SW including ACMS and AOC development, SITA/ACARS integration, and other initiatives.
•Managing connectivity platforms across different fleet types, for connection between aircraft and ground for exchange of data.
•Developing and delivering fleet modification projects: developing project documentation, vendor proposal assessments, liaising with stakeholders and vendors to meet project milestones and objectives.
•Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet milestones and ensure safety and efficiency.

Key Requirements

•Professional Engineering degree in Avionics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Aerospace or equivalent.
•Experience developing engineering instructions for Avionics repairs/modifications on Airbus or Boeing aircraft.
•Understanding of ACS as aircraft components (certification, configuration, part control, defect investigation, cyber security).
•Functional understanding of software engineering tools.
•Experience with project management is preferred.
