Key Responsibilities

  • •Support or lead transmission and distribution engineering capital project work across scoping, budgeting, conceptual engineering, contract management, design, construction, and closeout.
  • •Develop and review engineering designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, material requisitions, and estimates.
  • •Perform field reviews and provide technical support to construction, operations, and contractors.
  • •Ensure compliance with company standards and applicable codes and regulations.
  • •Support or lead engineering studies and special projects to improve system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency; provide technical leadership and mentoring by level.

Key Requirements

  • •BS Engineering (ABET) and 0–2 years experience, or an associate degree plus 4+ years of related utility experience (Associate level).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and typically 5+ years of relevant experience; EIT preferred (Sr. Engineer).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and typically 7+ years of engineering experience; PE preferred (Lead Engineer).
  • •CAD proficiency; PLS-CADD preferred for experienced candidates.
  • •Strong communication and technical writing skills, with Microsoft Office proficiency.
