Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines; establish progress and cost monitoring methods; produce project control reports and provide performance analysis and recommendations
  • •Collaborate with cost and planning engineers to ensure integrated planning; chair weekly meetings; produce schedule narratives and participate in risk reviews
  • •Monitor baselines and progress data; measure performance; prepare variance reports and escalate issues as needed
  • •Drive a positive can-do culture for Schedule Management; hold work package owners to account; identify interfaces and dependencies; implement effective meeting governance
  • •Provide day-to-day contact with clients and support across defence, rail, aviation, highways, water, marine/ports and utilities sectors

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrable knowledge of planning principles and ability to translate client objectives into the plan
  • •Technical competence in schedule construction including WBS, calendars, task creation, duration estimation, and critical path logic
  • •Working knowledge of planning systems such as Primavera, Project Online, Microsoft Project, and Asta Powerproject
  • •Experience with schedule assurance reviews using Primavera Schedlog, Acumen Fuse, or DCMA 14-Point Checklist
  • •Effective schedule monitoring and control including baseline management, planning workshops, progress data collection, and variance reporting
