Key Responsibilities

•Monitor infrastructure and pipelines, respond to issues, troubleshoot failures using logs and metrics, and identify root causes to prevent repeats.
•Build, review, and deploy infrastructure through code using Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes/container deployment patterns, and CI/CD workflows.
•Write Python and bash automation to reduce manual toil, improve reliability, and make platform tasks safer and easier.
•Design and operate role-based access control (least-privilege) and governance controls across cloud, warehouse, and BI platforms.
•Build, operate, and troubleshoot pipelines and transformations, and support platform migration from legacy systems including validation, cutover, and decommissioning.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 90,700 - 113,400 annually

Key Requirements

•3+ years in data engineering, software engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or a related technical role.
•Hands-on cloud and DevOps fundamentals operating workloads in AWS (or a major cloud), including IAM, networking, compute, managed services, and deployment patterns.
•Proficiency in Python for automation and tooling, plus working knowledge of SQL.
•Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform (or similar), including safe deployment practices.
•Comfort with CI/CD and Git workflows, plus good working knowledge of Kubernetes/containerized workloads (EKS valued).
