Key Responsibilities

  • •Adapt and develop modular, agile autonomy capabilities across diverse defense problems.
  • •Integrate and deploy autonomy solutions onto embedded Linux and other hardware platforms, including sensor interfacing and data collection.
  • •Troubleshoot complex integration and software issues to ensure reliability and performance.
  • •Integrate autonomy software into hardware in support of aircraft autopilots, datalinks, sensors, PNT/GPS/INS, and ground control stations.
  • •Run system-level setup, testing, and validation using SIL and HIL, and support live flight testing on group 1–5 UAVs.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in Robotics, Computer Science, or related engineering field.
  • •3+ years of hands-on experience integrating robotic systems (hardware, software, and integration).
  • •Experience programming in C++ and deploying autonomy software across embedded Linux/hardware platforms.
  • •Hands-on experience integrating with Pixhawk autopilots (ArduPilot and/or PX4).
  • •Experience with communication busses/protocols and containerized Linux environments (e.g., UART/RS232/RS485, SPI/QSPI, I2C, Ethernet; Docker; RHEL/Ubuntu).
