Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and maintain refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
  • •Perform physical work across Processing or Harvest departments as needed, including climbing stairs/ladders and lifting up to 100 pounds.
  • •Work in cold, damp, hot, and humid environments with temperatures ranging from 30°F to 105°F.
  • •Follow crew scheduling, working six days per week with two rotating days off (including Sundays and some major holidays).
  • •Complete any required onboarding steps such as background checks when applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •6 months ammonia refrigeration or boiler room experience.
  • •12 months mechanical work experience may be considered in lieu of refrigeration experience.

  • •Mechanical inclination; welding experience is preferred.
