Key Responsibilities

•Lead one or more MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs
•Perform MIL-STD-882E System Safety Program tasks and analyses, or customer’s approved equivalent
•Coordinate with customer safety representatives to gain safety approval from appropriate Safety Review Board authorities
•Collaborate with Program Management and government approval authorities from program startup through production to demilitarization and disposal backgrounds
•Brief safety of the program at technical reviews and as part of the safety approval process

Salary: USD 86,800 - 165,200 annually

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
•Experience with System Safety Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software or Firmware Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent Safety Engineering.
•The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
