Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, maintain, and organize Allegro schematic symbols and PCB footprints aligned to design requirements and project specifications.
  • •Create and validate complex Allegro schematic symbols and PCB footprints, ensuring compliance with IPC standards and internal guidelines.
  • •Build and maintain component metadata, including part numbering, attributes, and datasheet linkage.
  • •Collaborate with manufacturing and electrical/layout teams to resolve library issues and support design for manufacturability (DFM).
  • •Establish and enforce ECAD library best practices for version control, part approvals, and data integrity, including detailed quality checks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • •5+ years of ECAD library management experience, including creating Allegro schematic symbols and PCB footprints.
  • •Expertise in Allegro PCB Editor (and related tools) for symbol and footprint creation.
  • •Strong understanding of IPC standards, JEDEC package standards, and package dimensional tolerances.
  • •Experience working with manufacturing teams and using version control systems (e.g., Git or PLM) for ECAD libraries.
