Job Summary

Coordinate phone sales and distribution of asphalt and crushed concrete for multiple plants. You’ll handle order entry, scheduling, and shipping based on customer requests, communicate daily with customers and truck drivers, and support drivers with route/jobsite information. The role also requires customer-service focus, calm performance in a fast-paced environment, and strict adherence to OSHA/MSHA safety procedures and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Process and coordinate phone sales and distribution of asphalt and crushed concrete products for multiple plants.
•Enter orders, coordinate scheduling and shipping based on customer orders.
•Be aware of jobsite conditions (trucks, spacing, material needs) and support locating jobsites and travel times for drivers.
•Maintain a safe work environment and follow OSHA/MSHA regulations and required PPE.
•Follow foreperson directions, complete opening/closing procedures, and handle tasks/decision-making under pressure.

Key Requirements

•Minimum high school/GED required.
•Previous dispatch experience in asphalt/aggregate or transportation industry is preferred.
•Communicate effectively with customers and truck drivers to dispatch orders in a timely and efficient manner.
•Provide excellent phone-based customer service while scheduling and organizing people and equipment quickly.
•Use GPS tracking software and dispatch scheduling software; be able to learn different software programs.
