Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products impacting associates and customers.
  • •Design and support end-to-end architecture for complex AI systems, including foundation model training and large language model inference.
  • •Leverage open source and SaaS AI technologies (e.g., AWS Ultraclusters, Hugging Face, VectorDBs, PyTorch) to build and optimize AI components.
  • •Improve foundation model optimization techniques to enhance scalability, cost, latency, and throughput for production AI systems.
  • •Define AI reliability SLOs and collaborate on security, data governance, compliance, and GPU/TPU utilization; mentor senior teammates.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields plus 4+ years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies, or a Master’s plus 2+ years.
  • •4+ years programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
  • •At least 4 years of experience developing AI and ML algorithms or technologies.
  • •Experience leading development of AI systems with tradeoffs across cost, latency, throughput, and accuracy.
  • •Experience deploying scalable, responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
