Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Accounting, Financial Reporting & Tax, including monthly/quarterly/annual GAAP reporting and close.
  • •Oversee revenue, client, and payout reporting with data integrity across platforms and systems.
  • •Identify gaps in accounting workflows, drive redesigns, and implement automation and system integrations.
  • •Partner with Sales, Operations, Product, and Client Success to align financial reporting with business activity.
  • •Lead audit readiness and coordinate external audits and tax compliance with senior leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of progressive accounting experience (Big 4 and/or high-growth tech startup experience is a plus).
  • •Strong GAAP foundation with experience managing the close process end-to-end.
  • •Proven ability to build structure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and automate workflows.
  • •Experience with corporate income tax and sales/use tax; marketplace facilitator exposure is a strong plus.
  • •CPA preferred, but strong operators without a CPA are encouraged.
