Key Responsibilities

  • •Work within the specified research grant/project and operate in the area of radiobiology.
  • •Contribute to radiobiology research in the Parsons Group and collaborate with team members and colleagues across the School of Physics and Astronomy.
  • •Take responsibility for key project decisions and planning future experiments.
  • •Acquire, analyse, and interpret research data and develop new models, techniques, and methods.
  • •Disseminate results through publications, seminars, and conferences, and assist in supervising PhD, masters, and undergraduate students.

Salary: GBP 36,636 - 46,049 annually

  • •PhD (or near to completion) in radiation biology, cancer biology, molecular biology, or a closely related discipline.
  • •Substantial laboratory expertise using molecular and cellular biology techniques, including running diverse experiments.
