Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform bridge watch and deck watch activities in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.
  • •Ensure crude oil offloading activities (degassing, monitoring, strainer cleaning of the metering package) are performed safely.
  • •Support helicopter landing operations including refueling and assist personnel movements by FROG to/from the supply boat.
  • •Perform weekly checks on life-saving and firefighting equipment to meet regulatory standards.
  • •Track and manage materials movement: requisition, load/unload using safe rigging practices, record deliveries, and reconcile overages/shortages/damages.

Key Requirements

  • •Marine and offshore industry experience, including marine cargo handling experience.
  • •Preferably 3–5 years related experience in the petrochemical industry.
  • •Working knowledge of Control of Work Processes and Systems.
  • •Bridge Watch and safety certifications such as STCW Basic Safety & Survival Craft.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to work in confined spaces and complete physical job requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
