Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED with four years of experience and a required license.

  • •Knowledge of power plant safety, including chemical handling, high-energy systems, confined spaces, first aid, rotating machinery, and heavy equipment.
  • •Understanding of fundamental principles in physics, mathematics, AC & DC electrical theory, heat transfer, fluid flow, thermal dynamics, and chemistry.
  • •Experience with mechanical maintenance, rigging, rotating machine repair, basic vibration analysis, and use of electrical test equipment.
