Develop and execute public policy strategies for U.S. state and local markets, focusing on East Coast, Northeast, Midwest, and Southeast. •Help develop and execute policy strategies advancing business goals in key U.S. state and local markets.
•Identify and track proposed bills, regulations, and policy positions; develop engagement strategies and keep the business informed.
•Work closely with sales teams to create tailwinds and affect adoption of Samsara technologies through policy initiatives.
•Build and maintain relationships with governors, mayors, state legislators, regulatory officials, and trade associations.
•Assist with filings, comments, testimony, and manage outside consultants; collaborate on policymaker-facing content.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,737.5 - 137,250 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required.
•5+ years of relevant public policy, political, and/or government experience with an in-depth understanding of U.S. policymaking and government relations.

•Skilled at persuasively and diplomatically advocating complex policy positions to diverse audiences.
•Experience managing multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
