Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in Zero Waste Supervisor onboarding training and assist with Zero Waste Coordinator training and oversight.
  • •Be onsite during pre-season venue set up to ensure zero-waste operational procedures are in place.
  • •Assist with mid- and post-show waste sorting for recycling, composting, donations, and landfill materials to maximize diversion.
  • •Support Front of House zero-waste initiatives and maintain a clean sorting area, including post-show pick after each event.
  • •Relay on-the-ground observations to improve the program, assist with educational support for crew members and fans, and step in to oversee sustainability processes when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to spend significant time walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting/carrying 50+ lbs while sorting materials.
  • •Not afraid to get dirty and work around unpleasant odors.
  • •Ability to work outside in variable weather and be available for show and non-show days.
  • •Strong time management skills and willingness to work late hours as needed.
  • •Experience in events or zero-waste events is a plus.
