Research Scientist, Multimodal Generative AI (Intelligent Creation) – Global Frontier Tech Recruitment Program - 2027 Start (PhD)

Work on applied multimodal generative AI research for TikTok’s Intelligent Creation team. Build next-generation multimodal and agentic foundation models supporting end-to-end creative workflows, including full-modal understanding and AIGC image/video generation. Optimize model architectures and advance reinforcement learning and post-training (e.g., SFT, RL), collaborating cross-functionally to translate research into production-ready capabilities and new AI-driven creative experiences.
