Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure Latin America financial reporting complies with US GAAP and SOX requirements and internal accounting policies.
  • •Review and reconcile event P&Ls, show settlements, and other financial reports for completeness and accuracy.
  • •Reconcile general ledger accounts and research/resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • •Prepare and post month-end journal entries and support the monthly close process and reporting deadlines.
  • •Maintain and reconcile complex balance sheet accounts, including monthly IFRS elimination entries and adjustments, and assist with audits.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA candidate or CPA strongly preferred (MBA a plus).
  • •3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with Big 4; entertainment or live events experience is a plus.
  • •Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
  • •Fluency in Spanish is required; Portuguese is a plus.
  • •Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills; experience with Oracle and/or SAP preferred.
