Job Summary

Maintain and repair production equipment, tools, and machinery under direction of the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic. Install and adjust equipment, perform welding and fabrication, troubleshoot problems, and complete hydraulic and upgrade-related tasks. Use hand and power tools for repairs, greasing, cutting, and part changes. Diagnose malfunctioning machinery, dismantle equipment for defective parts, and keep the work area clean and orderly.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and repair production equipment and special purpose machines as assigned.
•Perform welding and fabrication, machine maintenance, problem troubleshooting, hydraulic installation, and assist with machine upgrades.
•Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete assigned tasks.
•Test malfunctioning machinery, determine repairs, and coordinate with the maintenance manager for approval.
•Dismantle equipment to remove defective parts, replace/install parts, lubricate and clean components, and maintain a clean work area.
