Key Responsibilities

  • •Investigate alerts by triaging, deep-diving, and producing action items and remediation plans.
  • •Perform host-based analysis, artifact analysis, and malware analysis to support security investigations and incident response.
  • •Coordinate investigation, containment, and response activities with business stakeholders and internal groups.
  • •Develop incident analysis and findings reports for management, including gap identification and recommendations.
  • •Recommend or develop detection logic and tune existing sensors/security controls, including building custom SIEM queries and dashboards.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 124,000 - 163,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years in Incident Response/Cyber Security Operations Center (in-house or outsourced), escalating and managing security incidents and producing incident reports.
  • •Manage low to high-risk cybersecurity events, alerts, and incidents, including event monitoring, analysis, and responding/escalating IT/DevOps security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • •3+ years using security tools including SIEM, analytics & intelligence, intrusion detection, malware detection, data loss prevention, and identity & access management.
  • •Strong understanding of system and security controls on at least two OSs (Windows, Linux/Unix, and MacOS), including host-based forensics and analyzing OS artifacts.
  • •Collaborate with stakeholders to drive incident response and remediation and build common runbooks for frequent/critical incident types.
