Key Responsibilities

  • •Sweep and/or vacuum vestibules, aisles, bays, and docks in cold storage freezer areas.
  • •Clean and return equipment; clean walls, vestibule curtains, and cold storage freezer areas.
  • •Pick up and properly dispose of debris on dock and cold storage freezer floors.
  • •Stack and place bad pallets in designated areas; place trash in the compactor.
  • •Sort and move condemned/exposed product to the rework area, report damaged product, train on other jobs, and follow all safety rules.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have worked 3 out of the last 6 months continuously with 1 employer.
  • •Willing to tolerate continuous physical labor in a cold (-10°F), humid environment for 9–11 hours per day.
  • •Willing to lift up to 50 pounds and perform proper lifting techniques (bending and pivoting to avoid twisting) for 9–11 hours per day.
  • •Ability to read and write and complete on-the-job paperwork.
  • •Forklift experience preferred; will be trained and licensed as a professional forklift operator.
