Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer AA fleet deferral and tracking programs within the Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) department.
  • •Coordinate with other departments on development, approval, and production of AA MEL, CDL, NEF, and TAC programs and content.
  • •Prepare final deferral revisions for FAA submittal.
  • •Maintain and administer AA MEL, CDL, NEF, and TAC manual revision status to meet company needs and ensure regulatory compliance, including distribution of new manuals.
  • •Provide leadership and guidance to assigned Deferral Specialists and maintain/operate the ARMS and ACMS databases and interfaces.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related experience/training.
  • •5 years of experience in commercial airline maintenance operations, including line or base maintenance and prior Maintenance Control (or combination).
  • •Current FAA Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) certification.
  • •Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to use digital technical manuals.
  • •Verbal and interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships and provide leadership, time management, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
