Key Responsibilities

•Lead thermodynamic design, component selection, and system integration of magnetic bearing centrifugal chillers, optimizing performance metrics (COP, IPLV/NPLV).
•Select, configure, and design control logic and envelope control algorithms for Danfoss Turbocor compressors.
•Serve as the technical bridge between local and US global chiller design teams to align specifications and technology platforms.
•Integrate the chiller with CDU and Fan Array systems to deliver a “total solution” for high-density data centers.
•Supervise and qualify Chinese component suppliers and plan/execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and prototype verification.

Key Requirements

•5–8+ years designing and developing large-scale water chillers, including at least 3 years hands-on experience with Danfoss Turbocor (or equivalent magnetic bearing) compressor systems.
•Bachelor’s degree or above in Refrigeration, Cryogenic Engineering, Thermal Energy Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
•Deep knowledge of refrigeration cycle dynamics and variable-speed centrifugal compressor systems.
•Proficiency with thermodynamic simulation software such as NIST Refprop, Aspen, or proprietary chiller selection tools.
•Fluent written and spoken English for alignment with US and overseas engineering teams.
