Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical inputs for delivery of complex drainage and/or flood engineering projects across infrastructure and development sectors.
  • •Deliver drainage designs, stormwater management plans, and hydraulic assessments for local council clients and major infrastructure projects.
  • •Provide specialised hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using tools such as Civil 3D, 12D, TUFLOW, DRAINS, URBS, RORB, XP-Rafts and WBNM.
  • •Develop practical solutions to complex drainage, flooding, and water quality challenges.
  • •Support project teams with technical guidance, mentoring, quality assurance, and client/regulator/stakeholder engagement to provide trusted advice and contribute to winning work.

Key Requirements

  • •5–15 years+ experience delivering drainage and/or flood modelling and related stormwater/hydraulic assessments and designs.
  • •Experience planning, hydraulic assessment and design of stormwater/drainage networks, or hydrologic modelling and/or assessments.
  • •Proficiency with software such as Civil 3D or 12d and/or TUFLOW (or similar hydraulic modelling tools), plus URBS and/or XP-Rafts (or similar hydrologic modelling tools).
  • •Confident technical capability across underground and surface water drainage systems.
  • •Demonstrated technical leadership through design review and mentoring, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
