Key Responsibilities

  • •Unload and wash trailers and reefers, monitor cookers, and soap/wash areas of the plant.
  • •Drive yard trucks to transport trailers/reefers on the yard and load finished product.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication checks, oil and belt changes on gear boxes, and auger inspections.
  • •Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures while using soap and high-pressure water hose.
  • •Document information and maintain a clean work area; perform required physical duties in extreme conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanical/maintenance skills and experience listed in your work history or application skills section.
  • •A current Arkansas Driver’s License and successful completion of the Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment.
  • •Ability to obtain and operate a forklift or skid-steer loader after obtaining required certification.
  • •Ability to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical/maintenance tasks, including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • •Must be willing to work shift A, B, C, or D and be at least 18 years of age.
