Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide engineering design expertise for a group of related processes/technologies and act as the point of contact for design-related issues.
  • •Lead process design activities across proposals and basic engineering for new units and revamps, and perform/review technical modifications to improve technology offerings.
  • •Ensure projects in the technology area are analyzed for hazards using HAZOP and that PHAs exist for sold processes and are initiated for new/modified technologies.
  • •Support sales and sales support by tailoring offerings to align with customer expectations and requirements; incorporate customer/TS/sales feedback to improve efficiencies.
  • •Maintain and improve design models, tools, and infrastructure; coach less experienced engineers and support engineering expertise in internal/external HAZOP studies and troubleshooting.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •B.E. / B. Tech in Chemical Engineering.
  • •12–15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas / Refining / Petrochemicals industry, majority in process design engineering.
  • •Expertise in process engineering deliverables such as process simulation, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, hydraulic calculation, process control, and project documentation.
  • •Strong familiarity with UOP engineering work processes and inter-discipline interactions.
  • •Significant experience in refining and/or petrochemicals technologies, including simulation/design software such as UNISIM and HTRI.
