Job Summary

Advise current and prospective members on retirement income planning through consultative inbound/outbound calls. Assess retirement needs, retirement events, and financial situations to build tailored retirement income strategies, including tax-efficient distribution options, insurance and estate planning solutions. Recommend and implement appropriate product actions, educate members on key risks and tax law changes, and monitor legislative initiatives that may affect outcomes. Work in-office 5 days/week with hybrid availability after 12 months.

•Recommend relevant financial products and services, refer for solutions outside training/licensing, and overcome objections to motivate members to take action.
•Monitor retirement strategy research and legislative initiatives, educate members on retirement risks and tax law changes, and integrate risk management tools into retirement income plans.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
•Active Group 1 Life license (or ability to acquire within 90 days of hire) and required maintenance of FINRA Series 7.
•Required maintenance of FINRA Series 66, or both 63 and 65.
•4 years of financial industry experience including retirement income planning and/or sales experience.
•Ability to pass a background check and meet USAA and regulatory requirements; experience delivering frequent written and oral communication.
