Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake design and review of electrical and ICA elements for wastewater and water infrastructure/treatment projects, including site surveys and key electrical deliverables.
  • •Develop electrical documentation across design stages (Feasibility, Outline, Detail, and Construction Design) and ensure compliance with national and international standards.
  • •Collaborate with local and nationwide multidisciplinary teams and communicate with clients and collaborators during design and planning phases.
  • •Delegate tasks, direct and oversee others’ work, and act as a technical mentor to more junior staff.
  • •Assist in preparing and managing bids and proposals and produce/review client deliverables (calculations, drawings, and technical reports) to relevant standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience designing water and wastewater engineering deliverables, ideally including treatment schemes.
  • •BEng or MEng in a related engineering field with experience in water and wastewater treatment.
  • •Chartered (or near Chartered) Member of a relevant Professional Institution.
  • •Proven experience working at a senior engineer level at a consultancy in the water sector.
  • •Experience managing projects, delegating tasks, and providing technical mentoring.
