Job Summary

Provide on-site technical direction and safe site leadership for heavy duty gas turbine installation, maintenance, commissioning, and testing. Work across remote shipyards, oilfields, industrial facilities, and LNG plants by interpreting technical data and drawings, troubleshooting gas turbines, and performing routine maintenance checkouts. Lead installation/maintenance activities aligned to customer and company schedule targets, while executing combustion inspection, hot gas path activities, major overhauls, and condition assessments.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide on-site technical direction and safe site leadership during maintenance and commissioning activities at shipyards, oilfields, industrial facilities, and LNG plants.
•Interpret data and provide technical instruction to support skilled labor.
•Lead installation, maintenance, and commissioning site activities while following quality and HSE rules and customer/company schedule targets.
•Troubleshoot gas turbines and perform routine maintenance checkout for gas turbine products.
•Participate in customer/contractor meetings and act as a promoter on recurrence issues and follow the action plan.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
•5+ years of experience in field service or maintenance, specifically in gas turbines and rotating equipment.
•Hands-on expertise with Heavy Duty Gas Turbines and Frame Gas Turbines (Frame 5/6/7/9).
•Strong knowledge of Heavy Duty Gas Turbine/Auxiliaries installation & maintenance philosophy and the ability to understand/implement technical drawings and schematics.
•Experience executing Combustion Inspection (CI) and Hot Gas Path (HGP) activities, plus the capability to perform major overhauls and turbine teardown/reassembly.
