Job Summary

Support the Financial Planning & Control team in Finance Division by monitoring and posting monthly expenditure accruals, reviewing provision accounts, and helping clear provision/suspense balances with divisions/stations. Assist with month-end closing activities and the timely review and raising of invoices/credit notes to subsidiaries and third parties. Help prepare recurring financial reports and contribute to budgetary control, annual budget and forecast exercises, including UAT support for system enhancements when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor, review and post monthly accruals for expenditure items.
•Handle divisions' queries on expenditure accounting and review provision accounts to clear provision/suspense balances.
•Ensure month-end closing activities are completed on time, including amortisation of prepayments and required journal entries.
•Review and raise invoice/credit notes to subsidiaries/third parties on a timely basis.
•Assist with preparation of monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/annual reports and support budgetary control, annual budgeting and forecast exercises; assist with system issue troubleshooting, enhancements, and UAT as needed.

Key Requirements

•Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance.
•Able to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
•Adaptable to changes and able to solve problems.
•Good interpersonal and communication skills.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
