Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the model, not just the math: Maintain and improve a driver-based, forward-looking model with scenarios and leverage tradeoffs for leadership.
  • •Live in unit economics: Track margins and P&Ls by location; segment intelligently and improve contribution margin.
  • •Turn data into decisions: Build budget vs. actuals and KPI dashboards that leaders use daily.
  • •Upgrade our finance stack: Transition from QuickBooks to a scalable ERP and rationalize chart of accounts.
  • •Cap table & equity operations: Manage Carta hygiene, option grants, refreshes, and board approvals.

Key Requirements

  • •Built-from-scratch experience as the first or early finance hire at a high-growth company, with ownership of the model, close of books, and early audits.
  • •Hands-on operator who can switch between high-level strategy and detailed ERP work and board-ready scenarios.
  • •Strong modeling and judgment for driver-based modeling, scenario analysis, and cohort economics.
  • •Systems and process builder able to design a chart of accounts, shorten close cycles, and move from QuickBooks to ERP.
  • •Clear storyteller who translates complexity into narratives for executives, banks, investors, and other stakeholders
