Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and execute production strategies to secure broadcast opportunities and achieve project success aligned with business objectives.
  • •Manage the end-to-end production lifecycle from concept development to delivery, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to maximize title profitability.
  • •Develop business plans and P&L projections, secure senior approval, and implement monetization strategies with the licensing sales team.
  • •Form and manage production committees by negotiating with investors/partners, coordinating stakeholders, and providing regular updates on progress and financial performance.
  • •Select and manage key production/creative partners and review scripts, animation footage, music, and other deliverables to ensure quality and brand integrity; mentor team members and improve workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as an anime producer leading production committees.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of original content, anime, and music production processes.
  • •Project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • •Understanding of licensing including rights structures and royalties, plus related contracts and business schemes.
  • •Native-level Japanese (written and verbal), with negotiation skills with funding partners, studios, and creators.
