•Maintain health of laboratory network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, and networking tools)
•Lead technical projects end-to-end: research, design, procurement, lab testing, implementation, documentation, and transition to operations
•Create technical documents including network drawings, test plans, reports, and implementation plans
•Collaborate in enterprise network design including IP addressing, routing, segmentation, and security
•Serve as Tier III support for an enterprise network operations center and mentor junior engineers

•Network Engineer/Network Administrator with expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols and technologies: IS-IS, BGP/MP-BGP (multi AS), MPLS, RSVP, LDP, MPLS VPN, OSPF, Multicast
•IPv4/IPv6 management, FBF, MBFD, Ethernet OAM, 802.1Q, VRRP/HSRP, certificate authorities, TACACS+, RADIUS, FTP/SFTP/TFTP, SSH, NTP, SNMP
•Security protocols: 802.1x, IPSEC, MACSEC, SSL/TLS, TACACS+, RADIUS
•Experience with router regression testing and writing technical documents
•CCNA or JNCIA required; CCNP or JNCIP preferred
•Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field and 6+ years of experience (12 years in lieu of degree)
