Job Summary

Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for detailed design engineering on power generation projects, producing calculations, equipment specs, and electrical designs. Leads CAD, ETAP/SKM work, reviews documents, and guides junior team members while ensuring QA/QC and compliance. Works with cross-functional teams to deliver complex electrical infrastructure deliverables, with occasional site/onsite or field support.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with project proposal and budget development
•Provide guidance with collecting, compiling, and analysing data relating to electrical infrastructure design plans and standards for design work.
•Coordinate, review and approve electrical infrastructure design plans for smaller projects, ensuring data integrity and compliance with codes and regulations.
•Apply high-level electrical engineering techniques to design power generation projects and renewables, including equipment sizing and cabling considerations.
•Oversee and monitor cross-functional teams of engineers and construction professionals to execute project work, budgets, and compliance documentation.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
•7+ years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer providing detailed design engineering experience in power generation projects, including calculations, equipment specifications, etc.
•Experience in power generation projects, detailed design engineering and relay coordination and schematic design
•Highly proficient in CAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software experience
•Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
