Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, integrate, and optimize Silicon One software solutions across Cisco and open-source Network Operating Systems.
  • •Triage customer issues and troubleshoot/analyze software and networking problems across development, qualification, and production environments.
  • •Collaborate with architecture, SDK, platform software, and NOS teams to deliver scalable, high-performance networking solutions.
  • •Participate in software integration involving L2/L3 forwarding, ACL, QoS, traffic management, congestion management, and load-balancing.
  • •Support solution validation, deployment planning, performance tuning, feature adoption, and contribute to automation/validation/testing and continuous integration frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of software development experience, or M.S. with 3+ years.
  • •Strong software development expertise in C++ and Python.
  • •Experience developing software on Linux-based systems.
  • •Experience integrating/debugging networking software using SDKs and abstraction layers.
  • •Hands-on understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies and Quality of Service (QoS), traffic management, congestion management, and load-balancing.
