Key Responsibilities

  • •Propose, plan, and execute red team operations to assess confidentiality, integrity, authentication, availability, authorization, and nonrepudiation under realistic threats.
  • •Maintain deep understanding of ByteDance enterprise products and how they could be attacked or abused.
  • •Run security exercises that emulate real-world threats and TTPs relevant to the organization.
  • •Translate requirements into test plans and write and execute test scripts or code to determine vulnerability to attacks.
  • •Write detailed reports with goals, outcomes, observations, and recommendations; collaborate across teams to improve security offerings.

Key Requirements

  • •Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or other STEM disciplines.
  • •Strong knowledge of red team operations, infrastructure security, MITRE, and TTPs.
  • •Adversarial mindset to emulate a real-world attacker.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate complex topics.
  • •Red team experience in an enterprise environment.
