Job Summary

Lead and grow a team of Applied Scientists building agentic, proactive AI/ML capabilities for the Product Analytics suite. Own the technical vision and roadmap for AI-driven event understanding, conversational analytics, automated insight reporting, and session-replay issue detection. Stay hands-on to move research prototypes into production, partner with product and engineering leadership, hire and onboard new scientists, and represent progress to stakeholders across Product Analytics and broader AI efforts.

•Lead and grow a team of Applied Scientists researching, prototyping, and industrializing AI/ML capabilities across the suite.
•Define the technical vision and roadmap for agentic, proactive AI/ML features including event understanding, conversational analytics, insight reporting, and session-replay issue detection.
•Stay hands-on as a technical contributor and reviewer to bring research prototypes to production-grade capabilities.
•Partner closely with product and engineering leadership to shape how AI capabilities are built and delivered across the suite.
•Hire and onboard Applied Scientists, and represent team priorities and progress to stakeholders across Product Analytics and broader AI efforts.

•Experience as a technical leader with a background in applied AI/ML, ideally with hands-on research or applied science experience.
•People management experience, established or in an early management journey, with strong technical credibility.
•Ability to operate in greenfield ambiguity by defining direction and structure where little exists.
•Experience taking ML/AI capabilities from research prototype to production, ideally in an analytics, NLP, or user-behavior domain.
•Strong communication skills to translate AI/ML concepts for product and engineering stakeholders.
