Lead the architectural design of Crusoe’s next‑gen AI infrastructure, unifying BMaaS, Intelligent IaaS, and Elastic CaaS across hyperscale environments. Drive hardware/software co-design, mentor R&D teams, and ship production-grade kernel and orchestration code, shaping memory, networking, and GPU interconnects for high-performance AI workloads.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect the internal cloud fabric and unify BMaaS, Intelligent IaaS, and Elastic CaaS to optimize AI workloads
•Lead R&D workstreams to prototype and productionize new memory, networking, and compute management approaches
•Draft white papers/RFCs outlining the next two years of Crusoe’s compute and networking stack
•Collaborate with Staff and Senior engineers to debug complex I/O path race conditions and optimize kernel-level memory pinning for GPU clusters
•Represent Crusoe in open-source communities or industry forums to influence cloud-native AI infrastructure direction

Key Requirements

•12+ years of experience designing and shipping core infrastructure at a major hyperscaler (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP) or a specialized HPC cloud
•Deep knowledge of the Linux kernel, virtualization internals (KVM/QEMU/Firecracker), and high-performance networking (RoCE v2, InfiniBand)
•Proven ability to design software that maximizes performance of NVIDIA/AMD GPUs and high-speed NICs
•Experience leading cross-functional R&D teams through high-ambiguity projects and delivering production-ready systems
•A portfolio of significant contributions to the field, including patents, major open-source contributions, or published research in distributed systems
